QUESTION: How do you get Black Nickel finish on a TEKA fixture?

ANSWER: Black Nickel finish can only be specified through our technical sales department. It is an special electroless, auto-catalytic chemical-only plating process that deposits nickel-phosphorus through reaction with a reducing agent (such as sodium hypophosphite (NaPO2H2•H2O)). This process provides a very beautiful, durable and corrosion resistant plate across the entire fixture’s exterior.

This finish typically requires a lead time of approximately two weeks in addition to standard manufacturing lead time. If you are interested in a specifying a fixture with Black Nickel finish, please call our technical sales department at (559) 438-5800.
