QUESTION: A bollard's a bollard, right? Aside from the new copper-free Aluminum material option, what special features are available with the recently released Apollo, Beacon and Citadel bollards?

ANSWER: There are actually quite a few options you can specify with our newly released line of bollards.

Bollards CTB BSB APB REV

All three of our new bollards: Apollo (APB), Beacon (BSB) and Citadel (CTB) have the option to include an Emergency Battery Backup (EMB) that will keep your fixture illuminated for up to 90 minutes after a power outage. They also include the option to include our new thermally protected Surge Protective Device. This device prevents failure from sustaining over voltage conditions (specify 120V or 277V) while simultaneously protecting against increases in temperature.

In addition, APB and BSB include the Hi/Lo Switching Motion Sensor, a three-function switch that includes Hi, Low and Off functions. Default settings for detection range, hold time, daylight sensor, stand by time and stand by dimming can be adjusted with remote.

Not only that, but our Doppler radar (motion sensing) technology is invisible to the naked eye, meaning no interference to the sleek and sophisticated design!
